Publishing saved mapping rules allows Admins to deploy them for active use across both test and production datasets. This promotes rule reusability, ensures consistency, and minimizes manual rework during ingestion. Since published rules can impact live instances, it is important to review them carefully before publishing.

Only users with either the Publisher or Admin role have the ability to publish mapping rules.
On the Data Mapping Editor, click the Vertical Ellipsis (⋮) next to the Save button.
Select Publish Data Mapping from the dropdown. A confirmation dialog will appear. Confirm that all updates are correct before proceeding.
To enable the Publish Mapping button, you must check the acknowledgment box confirming the changes. Click Publish Mapping to make the version live.
If you are publishing to a production instance, ensure that all updates are final and thoroughly validated. This step may impact live bill explanations if incorrect rules are published, so it is critical to review changes carefully before proceeding.
For batch-based ingestion, the changes will apply in the next scheduled processing cycle unless the current cycle is reprocessed.Information panel
