This release introduces Profile Import: Sample Records Preview, an enhancement to the manual Profile Import workflow that improves visibility into how uploaded CSV files are parsed and processed. Importers can preview profile data and review clear import results, reducing uncertainty and streamlining profile data onboarding.
Profile Import: Sample Records Preview
When a CSV file is uploaded for manual Profile Import, the system parses the file and displays a preview of the first 20 rows. This preview enables operators to validate column names, data formats, and field values prior to completing the import. If parsing issues are detected, the preview provides clear, actionable feedback, identifying the specific column and reason for failure, such as invalid date or numeric formats. After processing, the system reports the number of records successfully imported and the number of records that encountered errors, clearly indicating whether the import was fully or partially successful.
These capabilities reduce trial and error during CSV setup, accelerate troubleshooting, and improve confidence in profile import outcomes for Profile Importers.
