# Content Settings

The **Properties Panel** displays different controls depending on which content element you select. Here are descriptions of some of the most frequently used ones.

### Padding

Use **Padding** settings to configure all sides of the selected element or each side separately.

### Borders

Use **Border** settings to configure all sides of the selected element or separately for each side of a button, column, etc.

### Dividers

Use **Dividers** to create visual separation between design elements. They can be transparent or visible. Granular divider padding control provides great design flexibility.

### Color memory

As you select colors for fonts, backgrounds, etc., the Editor learns and remembers them, making them quickly accessible to style future content elements.
