# Core Modules

Bill Explainer is composed of **four core modules**, each responsible for a distinct part of the billing explanation experience.

Together, these modules enable teams to explain bills clearly, configure experiences safely, align billing data, and understand customer engagement.

**Explainer** is the **consumer-facing experience**.

It is the branded, interactive microsite where customers:

- Review their bill
- See what changed compared to the previous billing period
- Understand charges in context
- Take relevant next actions

This is the experience customers see and interact with.

**Studio** is the **configuration module** for Bill Explainer.

It allows client administrators to:

- Control branding, layout, and messaging
- Manage content and explanations
- Preview changes safely before publishing

Studio enables teams to evolve the experience over time without engineering effort.
