Each campaign will have its own file location for uploaded files. - After the campaign is saved, open the saved campaign. - Navigate to the **Audience** section. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/c578bb14-e570-4b6e-93ed-f6c5b8a2d8a1/Images/Documentation/Folder Location.jpg?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-26T12%3A27%3A43Z&se=2026-10-26T13%3A27%3A43Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=%2BfM14kudwyc5S%2B4wV%2F6i5GaaljbHrpEsGvsrYwaK0iw%3D) - The Audience section displays: - **Segment**: External File Location - **Folder Location**: /triggered/ - A **copy icon** is available next to the folder location. - Select the **copy icon** next to the folder location to copy the folder path. ### Launch a File-Triggered Campaign Verify that you are ready to launch the file-triggered campaign before uploading files to the External File Location directory. - To launch a File-Triggered Campaign select **Run Campaign** in the lower-right corner of the page. - Confirm that the **campaign status** is updated to **Launched** in the campaign list. - The campaign is now available to process uploaded files. - After you launch a file-triggered campaign, you can stop it at any time by using the **Stop Campaign** option. > ![Note](https://cdn.document360.io/c578bb14-e570-4b6e-93ed-f6c5b8a2d8a1/Images/Documentation/Note.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-26T12%3A27%3A43Z&se=2026-10-26T13%3A27%3A43Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=%2BfM14kudwyc5S%2B4wV%2F6i5GaaljbHrpEsGvsrYwaK0iw%3D) > > The Stop Campaign option becomes available immediately after you launch the campaign and remains available while the campaign is running. ### Upload Audience Files for Processing > ![Note](https://cdn.document360.io/c578bb14-e570-4b6e-93ed-f6c5b8a2d8a1/Images/Documentation/Note.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-26T12%3A27%3A43Z&se=2026-10-26T13%3A27%3A43Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=%2BfM14kudwyc5S%2B4wV%2F6i5GaaljbHrpEsGvsrYwaK0iw%3D) > > If the campaign is not running, the system ignores uploaded files and moves them immediately to the **/error** directory. - Verify that the campaign is in the Launched state. - Upload the CSV files to the configured External File Location directory. - To upload a file using SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol), contact the engineering team and request the following: - An **SFTP username** - A **public/private key pair** for secure access - After you receive these credentials, you can use whatever SCP or SFTP client you prefer to upload the file. If you want to use a command-line SFTP program, the following command will initiate a session with the SFTP server and allow you to use interactive commands to put the file. ```shell sftp -i ~/Downloads/id_rsa_digico_qa \ -o IdentitiesOnly=yes \ -o StrictHostKeyChecking=accept-new \ svc_digico_qa@transfer-non-prod.precisioncxsolutions.com ``` **Note**- This is a sample command. Replace the credentials and key file with the values provided by your engineering team. - The system reads the file and identifies the campaign audience. - Messages are sent to the recipients included in the file. - The system processes files only when the campaign is in the Launched state. > ![Note](https://cdn.document360.io/c578bb14-e570-4b6e-93ed-f6c5b8a2d8a1/Images/Documentation/Note.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-26T12%3A27%3A43Z&se=2026-10-26T13%3A27%3A43Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=%2BfM14kudwyc5S%2B4wV%2F6i5GaaljbHrpEsGvsrYwaK0iw%3D) > > The file must contain the **profile_ids** you want to include in the campaign. The file can also contain additional attributes. If you provide additional attributes, the system updates them in the Profile database before sending the campaign to recipients. Once the system receives the file, it automatically begins processing the campaign.
