Xponent Messaging Account

Xponent Messaging Account configuration is mandatory to send messages (SMS, MMS, or RCS)  using the Organization's sender account.  It establishes a secure connection between Xponent JO and your Xponent Messaging Channel service through OAuth authentication.

 These configuration are available for Internal ops team.

Adding Xponent Messaging Account

Turning on the Xponent Messaging Account enables the Xponent Messaging Node to send messages maintained in XCC via the Xponent messaging service. This means any message actions in your orchestration flows, such as notifications, confirmations, or marketing messages, will use the authenticated account you set up, ensuring secure delivery through your organization’s messaging service.

 Completing all required fields and testing the connection is mandatory before saving the configuration.

Selecting the On button expands the configuration panel and displays the required fields for Xponent Messaging Account setup. You must complete all these fields to proceed.

Filling in every value is mandatory because the system will not allow testing or saving the configuration until all details are provided. After entering the information, you can test the connection and then save the configuration.

Complete all fields and test the connection before you can save (saving is disabled until a successful test):

• OAuth URL: The authentication endpoint for obtaining access tokens.

• OAuth Client ID: Unique identifier for your application during OAuth.

• Client Secret: Confidential key paired with Client ID for secure authentication.

• API URL: Endpoint for API calls after successful authentication.

  Changes within these fields are not applied until the connection test passes and the configuration is saved.

After completing all required fields, the message “Test the connection to enable saving” appears next to the On button. This confirms that the configuration is ready for validation and enables the Test Connection button at the bottom of the panel.

• Click Test Connection. If successful, the status changes to Test Successful with a success message “Accounts - Inherited from XCC”. Also, the Save button becomes visible at the bottom of the configuration panel, allowing you to finalize the setup.

If the test fails, the system displays “⚠️ Test Failed. Try Again.” Update or correct the entered values as needed. Once changes are made, the error message is cleared, and you can click Test Connection again.

The message updates to “Ready to save your configuration” next to the On button. At the same time, the Save button becomes visible at the bottom of the configuration panel, allowing you to finalize the setup.
