They facilitate reading, writing, and processing data from various platforms, ensuring smooth integration and automation. Also, it act as bridges that connect the graph to databases, files, message queues, and web services. Some adaptors handle data retrieval, while others focus on writing or updating information.

Adaptors help ensure efficient data flow and system interoperability. They support different operations such as reading from files, writing to databases, sending messages, and interacting with web services. Xponent supports the following adaptors:

• Database Adaptor - Supports reading, writing, and deleting data from a database.

• Email Write Adaptor - Sends emails as part of a process.

• File Read Adaptor - Reads and write data from a file.

• Message Queue Adaptor - Supports writing to and reading from message queues.

• SOAP Web Service Adaptor - Integrates with SOAP-based web services.

• Kafka Write Adaptor - Sends messages to a Kafka topic.

• REST Web Service Adaptor - Supports multiple HTTP methods:
