AI Compliance Support

Prev Next

Bill Explainer includes built-in features that support compliance with the European Union’s AI Act. This regulation requires clear labeling and transparency whenever AI-powered content is presented to users, and it includes controls for user consent and privacy. As a result, you may see prompts or disclaimers when interacting with AI-powered features, ensuring you are informed about the nature and limitations of AI-generated responses.

AI Transparency Prompt

To view the AI transparency prompt, click the AI button in the interface. A pop-up will appear, displaying important information about interacting with the AI-powered assistant. You can hide this prompt at any time by clicking anywhere on the screen or by clicking the AI button again.

Information

You are interacting with an AI-powered assistant

This assistant uses Generative AI to respond based on patterns in data. While it can offer helpful information and support, it is important to keep in mind:

  • Responses may not always be accurate or complete.

  • The assistant does not have real-time awareness or personal knowledge about you.

  • It should not be relied on for legal, medical, or safety-critical decisions.

How It Works

Bill Explainer is designed to support EU AI Act requirements, promoting transparency, privacy, and regulatory alignment for every user.

Automatic AI Transparency Labeling

Bill Explainer automatically displays clear markers and standardized disclaimers wherever AI-generated insights are presented to end users. These labels make it obvious when content is produced by AI, supporting transparency and building trust.

Consent-Aware Analytics

The platform respects user consent for analytics and data tracking. This affects analytics behavior only; content visibility and access remain unchanged. In EU deployments, if a user does not grant consent, analytics features (such as Microsoft Clarity tracking) are automatically disabled to align with EU AI Act transparency requirements.

Standardized Disclaimers

Legal disclaimers are shown by default wherever AI outputs are surfaced, so users are always informed about the nature of the content and their rights.

Zero Client-Side Setup

All compliance features are enforced at the platform level. Clients do not need to implement any additional code; compliance is built in and enabled by default.

Key Benefits

  • Compliance Support: Deploy Bill Explainer confidently in EU and other regulated markets with built-in features that support AI transparency and consent requirements.

  • Frictionless Rollouts: No delays or legal blockers, compliance is handled automatically so that clients can focus on value rather than regulatory risk.

  • Consumer Trust: End users see clear, honest labeling and disclaimers, which build trust and support responsible AI adoption.

  • Future-Ready Foundation: The compliance framework prepares Bill Explainer for evolving global AI regulations, reducing risk, and strengthening CSG’s position as a responsible SaaS provider.
