Overview
This release introduces Auto Opt-In Subscriptions, a new capability in Batch Communications Engine (BCE) that automatically assigns designated subscriptions to newly created user profiles.
Auto Opt-In Subscriptions
Administrators can designate subscriptions as Auto Opt-In when creating a subscription. Once configured, these subscriptions are automatically assigned to all newly created user profiles, eliminating the need for external systems or onboarding processes to explicitly include them. This setting only applies to newly created profiles by automatically adding the specified subscriptions. This helps reduce manual subscription management, improves consistency across newly created profiles, and ensures users receive required operational and transactional communications from the moment their profiles are created. It does not impact existing profiles, and profiles can continue to unsubscribe from these subscriptions normally. Auto opt-in subscriptions are most useful for operational/transactional communications. The Auto Opt-In setting is fixed at creation time and cannot be updated later. This helps organizations streamline onboarding and ensure required operational communications are applied consistently. The Auto Opt-In feature must be enabled through tenant configuration before it is available in the application. Please contact your CSG administrator if you would like to use this feature.
