They allow you to create different sections of a message. Rows with different structures allow you to organize content in a way that is different from the preceding and following rows. **ROWS Tab** ![](https://cdn.document360.io/c578bb14-e570-4b6e-93ed-f6c5b8a2d8a1/Images/Documentation/image-1725620743459.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-26T13%3A24%3A50Z&se=2026-10-26T14%3A24%3A50Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=plAQQ%2B8VN%2FnDpa8ISrz%2FUvQFvgQllaG2LSWmQQCNizE%3D) For instance, you may need: - A single-column row with a hero image to introduce your online store’s new promotion - A three-column row below it to display some of the store’s best-selling products You also may need different rows, even if they have the same structure, if you want them to have different row or content background color. If you need to switch to a different number of columns for an existing row, you can use the **CUSTOMIZE COLUMNS** section inside the row’s properties. Selecting a row switches the **Properties Panel** to the **ROW PROPERTIES** panel, where you can edit row and column settings. The Editor provides flexibility and customization at both the row and column level. There are three types of rows available to you. Click the list initially labeled **Default** at the top of the **ROWS** tab to select one of the following: ![](https://cdn.document360.io/c578bb14-e570-4b6e-93ed-f6c5b8a2d8a1/Images/Documentation/2025-01-03_19-37-54.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-26T13%3A24%3A50Z&se=2026-10-26T14%3A24%3A50Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=plAQQ%2B8VN%2FnDpa8ISrz%2FUvQFvgQllaG2LSWmQQCNizE%3D) - **Empty** - Select from several row configurations with no content that include different column layouts. - **Default** - Select from a variety of pre-configured rows containing different content layouts. - **Shared Assets** - Select from shared assets within the organization and the same channel, includes reusable components (For Example: headers, footers, or styled content) designed for consistency and efficiency. ### Shared Assets Shared assets are reusable components (For Example: headers, footers, or styled content) designed for consistency and efficiency. These assets streamline workflows by enabling updates to propagate across all related templates automatically when synced. > [!NOTE] > ![Note](https://cdn.document360.io/c578bb14-e570-4b6e-93ed-f6c5b8a2d8a1/Images/Documentation/Note.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-26T13%3A24%3A50Z&se=2026-10-26T14%3A24%3A50Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=plAQQ%2B8VN%2FnDpa8ISrz%2FUvQFvgQllaG2LSWmQQCNizE%3D) You must have access to the same channel within the organization to view and utilize shared assets. **Selecting and Adding Assets** 1. Select the required asset from the Shared Asset list using the scroll or search options. 2. Drag and drop the asset into your desired location within the editor stage. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/c578bb14-e570-4b6e-93ed-f6c5b8a2d8a1/Images/Documentation/2025-01-03_20-22-53.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-26T13%3A24%3A50Z&se=2026-10-26T14%3A24%3A50Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=plAQQ%2B8VN%2FnDpa8ISrz%2FUvQFvgQllaG2LSWmQQCNizE%3D) **When an asset is synced**: - Changes made to the asset in the library will automatically apply to all templates where it is used by maintaining a single source of truth. - Synced assets cannot be modified directly. To modify a synced asset, it must first be unsynced. **Unsyncing and Modifying Assets** - Select the row on the editor stage where the asset is placed. - Four icons will appear in the top-right corner of the block. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/c578bb14-e570-4b6e-93ed-f6c5b8a2d8a1/Images/Documentation/2025-01-06_14-32-33(1).png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-26T13%3A24%3A50Z&se=2026-10-26T14%3A24%3A50Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=plAQQ%2B8VN%2FnDpa8ISrz%2FUvQFvgQllaG2LSWmQQCNizE%3D) - Click on the pencil icon ([Edit Sync Row](/v1/docs/rows#edit-synced-row)). - A pop-up will display indicating that the asset is synced. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/c578bb14-e570-4b6e-93ed-f6c5b8a2d8a1/Images/Documentation/2025-01-03_20-09-53.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-26T13%3A24%3A50Z&se=2026-10-26T14%3A24%3A50Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=plAQQ%2B8VN%2FnDpa8ISrz%2FUvQFvgQllaG2LSWmQQCNizE%3D) - **Edit Asset**: - This option allows you to edit the asset directly in the asset window. - Changes made here will apply to all templates where the asset is used, after approval. - **Unsync Asse**t: - Click this option to edit the asset independently. - Once unsynced, you can modify the asset as needed. - After making changes, click the [save](/v1/docs/rows#save-the-row-asset) icon, which will appear in place of the [edit](/v1/docs/rows#save-the-row-asset) icon. > [!NOTE] > ![Note](https://cdn.document360.io/c578bb14-e570-4b6e-93ed-f6c5b8a2d8a1/Images/Documentation/Note.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-26T13%3A24%3A50Z&se=2026-10-26T14%3A24%3A50Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=plAQQ%2B8VN%2FnDpa8ISrz%2FUvQFvgQllaG2LSWmQQCNizE%3D) Unsyncing an asset removes its association with the shared library. The unsynced asset cannot be resynced automatically. To resync, delete the unsynced asset and re-add it from the Shared Asset list. **Version Control and Approval of the asset** - Each asset modification generates a new version. - Approval status and version history can be checked in the Asset Window. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/c578bb14-e570-4b6e-93ed-f6c5b8a2d8a1/Images/Documentation/2025-01-03_23-46-16(1).png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-26T13%3A24%3A50Z&se=2026-10-26T14%3A24%3A50Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=plAQQ%2B8VN%2FnDpa8ISrz%2FUvQFvgQllaG2LSWmQQCNizE%3D) > [!NOTE] > ![Note](https://cdn.document360.io/c578bb14-e570-4b6e-93ed-f6c5b8a2d8a1/Images/Documentation/Note.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-26T13%3A24%3A50Z&se=2026-10-26T14%3A24%3A50Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=plAQQ%2B8VN%2FnDpa8ISrz%2FUvQFvgQllaG2LSWmQQCNizE%3D) Similarly, shared assets will work for [MMS](/v1/docs/creating-mms-templates) and [SMS](/v1/docs/creating-sms-templates) templates, ensuring efficient updates and synchronization The type of shared asset used will depend on the channel's specific requirements. > **For Example**: SMS templates use alphanumeric assets, including special characters, while email and MMS support multimedia assets. ### Selecting Rows and Content ![](https://cdn.document360.io/c578bb14-e570-4b6e-93ed-f6c5b8a2d8a1/Images/Documentation/2025-01-03_20-19-53.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-26T13%3A24%3A50Z&se=2026-10-26T14%3A24%3A50Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=plAQQ%2B8VN%2FnDpa8ISrz%2FUvQFvgQllaG2LSWmQQCNizE%3D) When you perform the following actions in the message editing area of the Editor (the Stage), the resulting actions occur: Selecting a row causes the Editor deselects any block of content that had been previously selected and displays four icons that allows you to: #### Show comment ![](https://cdn.document360.io/c578bb14-e570-4b6e-93ed-f6c5b8a2d8a1/Images/Documentation/2024-09-06_02-25-35(1).png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-26T13%3A24%3A50Z&se=2026-10-26T14%3A24%3A50Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=plAQQ%2B8VN%2FnDpa8ISrz%2FUvQFvgQllaG2LSWmQQCNizE%3D) The comment feature allows users to provide feedback, collaborate, and track discussions on rows within the Editor.
