Overview

The [Month, Year([release number]) release introduces a new analytics capability called Segment Creation and Analysis within the Analytics section, bug fixes and security patches.

Segment Creation and Analysis

  • Segment Creation and Analysis serves as the third tab within the Analytics section and can only be accessed if your project has KDM enabled for Analytics.
  • If you are unsure whether your project has KDM enabled, please contact your Customer Success or Professional Services team for more information.
  • This new feature is designed to allow you to create and track a subset of profiles based on their behaviors and/or identifiers, such as “Profiles that have only purchased once”.
  • There are three main sections of Segment Creation and Analysis:
  • Segment List
  • Segment List is the default view when you click into the Segment tab.
  • This is where you can find all saved segments for your project.
  • Segment Builder
  • This is where you will be able to create and define a brand new segment for future analysis.
  • A segment can be defined based off of any number of things such as behaviors (journey steps, journey, interactions and channels) or profile (identifiers).
  • Segment Summary
  • Similar to the Journey Discovery Analytics Dashboard, the Segment Summary page is designed to help you understand at a macro level how your specific segment is behaving and where are the possible areas for improvement.
  • You will be able to deep link into the Segment List and Segment Summary page and share with other business stakeholders interesting insights into specific segments.

Bug Fixes
