Team Management gives administrators complete control over team configuration and collaboration settings. From the dashboard, you can manage team details, adjust channel access, and perform key actions like adding users or deleting a team. With these options, you can keep your teams organized, secure, and aligned with your collaboration goals.
On the Teams dashboard, find the team card you want to modify
For Example: In this case, we are considering the newly created team named HiTech.
Click the team card to open the team Overview on the right-hand side of the screen. View team details in the panel (Team Name and Description, Templates Summary with counts for Drafts, Approved, In Review, and Active.)
Click View All to see all templates.
Click Delete Team to remove the team after reassignment.
Click Edit Team to update team details.

You can also, directly choose to edit or delete the team by following the below actions-
Click the three vertical dots (Overflow Menu) on the right-hand side of the team card.
From the Overflow Menu, choose one of the following: Edit Team or Delete.

When the user selects Edit Team, the team Overview opens on the right side of the screen. It includes the following editable and non-editable fields. To modify the team configuration, click Edit Team button at the bottom of the Overview section.
Click the X icon if you want to close the team details opened for editing.
The Team Name field is inactive. The team name can not be changed after the team is created.
Modify Team Description
Click the Team Description field to modify the team description. You can add up to 1,500 characters.

Manage Access and Permissions
Click the toggle button under Access and Permissions to turn ON additional channels if you want to add more.
When the toggle is ON, the selected channels will be enabled for your team, granting members access according to the configured permissions.
You cannot turn OFF the channel once it is activated in a team. The toggle remains frozen with a tooltip: “Cannot be turned off after creating team.”

Manage Team Members
Click View All in the Members section, which redirects you to the User Management page and displays all team members belonging to the selected team.
For Example: All members belonging to the HiTech team are displayed.
The list displays existing team members
CSG admins are added to all teams by default.
The team automatically includes all admins from its organization.

Add Members
Click Add or Edit Members to add team members. The Add/Edit Members modal opens.
Members who have access to the channel assigned to the team are eligible to be added to the team and appear on the Add/Edit modal.
Use the search bar to find and add a specific member or check the list of available members to add to the team.
To Add a member, click the checkbox next to the member’s name or click the top checkbox to select all eligible members for bulk addition.
To deselect members, uncheck the box next to the member names.
Click Add Members to update the team membership. A toast message appears confirming the update: “Team membership updated successfully.”
You are redirected back to the Teams Dashboard with updated members.

View Templates
The Templates section displays the total number of templates assigned to the team and their sub-division under Drafts, In Review, Approved, and Active statuses.
Template Color Indicators:
Yellow- Templates In Review
Green- Templates Approved or Active
Grey-Templates in Drafts
Click View All in the Templates section to trigger the Studio Redirect modal.
Read the message that informs you about being redirected to Studio for template editing and management.
You’ll be taken to the Studio, where you can view and manage all templates created by the HiTech Team. This screen has different features for template editing and management. Are you sure you want to continue?
Click Cancel to stay on the current screen or click Continue to confirm the redirect.
By default, Don’t show this again is unchecked. If you select this option and click Continue, the pop-up will not appear next time. The system redirects you directly to the Studio without opening the pop-up.

After redirecting, the Templates section in Studio displays the templates assigned to the team.
For Example- The templates belonging to the HiTech team are displayed after getting redirected to Studio.

Actions- Delete Team
Delete Team permanently removes the selected team from the Teams Dashboard. This action is irreversible and deletes the team from the system once confirmed.
Click the three vertical dots (Overflow Menu) on the right-hand side of the team card. Or click the team card to open the team details section on the right-hand side.
From the Overflow Menu on the team card or the team details section, click the Delete or Delete Team button, respectively.
A team can only be deleted if it has no template assigned, or all templates have been moved to another team before deletion.
This team will be permanently deleted, and its members, roles, permissions, templates, assets, and channels will be moved into Primary Team. This action cannot be undone, and all impacted members will be notified.
A Delete Confirmation modal appears.
For example- HiTech Delete Team Modal
In the confirmation modal click Cancel to return to the selected team card view or click Delete to confirm team deletion.
If you click Delete to confirm team deletion-
A toast message appears: “Team *** is successfully deleted.”
You return to the Teams dashboard.
The team card of the deleted team is removed from the dashboard.

How to Move a Template to Another Team Before Team Deletion
When you try to delete a team with templates assigned, a modal appears stating:
Deletion not allowed
This team cannot be deleted; one or more templates are still associated with it. To delete this team, please first reassign or remove all templates linked to the team.
Click Cancel. The modal disappears, and the team details are displayed on the right-hand side.

From the team details section, click View All Templates. A modal opens and redirects you to Studio.

In Studio, the Templates section displays all templates within the team, grouped under Drafts, Approved, In Review, and Active statuses.
Locate the template you want to move and click the three vertical dots (Overflow Menu) next to the preview icon.
Select Move to Another Team from the menu.

In the Move Template screen:
Choose the destination team from the Move to another Team dropdown list.
A template can be moved to another team with the same channel permissions.

Click Continue to confirm moving the template to the selected team.
A toast message appears: “(Template name) moved from Team** to Team ***.”
Repeat these steps for all templates until none remain in the original team.
Once all templates have been moved, you can delete the team using the standard deletion steps.

Actions- Save or Cancel
Click the Cancel button to close the team details panel and return to the full Teams Dashboard view, or click the Save button to apply all modifications made to the team.
Upon successful save action:
A toast message displays “Team Name*** updated with success.”
The team details panel closes, returning you to the Teams dashboard.
