# Uploading and Importing Files

Xponent Communications Control (XCC) supports multiple ways to add files.The fastest way to upload a file into the File Manager is to drag it from your desktop to the File Manager window and drop it anywhere on the page.

You can also:

- Click the **Upload** button to browse and upload from your computer.
- Click the **Import** button to import a file from an external application (see more below), if this feature is enabled.

### Importing Files from Other Applications

The **Import** page allows you to import files from external applications like DropBox, Google Drive, and Instagram. You can either type the link to the image and then click **Search** or click an application link to begin connecting to the application.
