Batch Connection

Prev Next

Batch connection type is a group of connectors used for ingesting data from batch sources.  Batch Listener uses the configured Batch Connections in the Listener Editor window.

  1. Choose Batch from the Connection Type dropdown to create a new Batch Connection.
  2. Create a unique name for the connection. Give a functional name rather than a development stage name.

For Example:
CustomerDB rather than DevelopmentDB. It is easier to propagate the connection through multiple environments.

Select the required batch connections environment to create or modify the configuration.

For a new batch connection, the default selection for the Source Connector will be Amazon S3. This connection requires the following parameters:

  • Type
  • S3 Bucket
  • AWS Secret Access Id
  • AWS Secret Access Key
  • AWS Region: Manual selection for the region is mandatory.

The credential used to create batch connection must have permission to Read, Write, and Delete.

Configured all batch-type connections will be grouped together.
