AI Journey Builder
AI Journey Builder enables Configurers to create and enhance journey graphs with natural-language prompts, making journey design more intuitive and accessible. Instead of manually building workflows node by node, users can describe the desired outcome and have Xponent generate a draft graph that includes journey steps, decision logic, and supporting configurations. AI-generated changes are presented in a preview for review before being applied, helping users maintain control while accelerating journey creation and modification.
Xponent Messaging Node - RCS Support
Xponent Messaging Node now supports Rich Communication Services (RCS), enabling Configurers to access and use SMS, MMS, and RCS templates from XCC through a unified messaging experience. The enhancement introduces support for selecting approved template versions, template preview, and improved visibility into messaging channels during configuration. These updates help simplify the creation and management of customer communications while providing greater clarity and consistency across the supported messaging channels.
For existing Email or Messaging Nodes created before CX 26.2 that are still in use, ensure that an identifier is configured in your graph before invoking the communication node.
Continuous Improvements
Email Node enhancements
This release enhances the Native Email Node by improving template version control and expanding email capabilities. Configurers can now select and lock approved template versions, add CC/BCC recipients, and configure optional fields such as sender details and reply-to settings. These updates provide greater flexibility, clarity, and stability for email communications within Xponent.
Agent Node Enhancements
Agent Node expands Xponent's agentic capabilities by enabling Configurers to incorporate AI-powered agents directly into journey orchestration workflows. Agents can be configured with goals, context, knowledge sources, and tools, enabling them to evaluate information, make decisions, and perform actions throughout a journey. This release introduces a new Agent Node for Journey Orchestration, enabling teams to use AI agents natively within journey workflows. Building on the Agent Builder introduced in a previous release, the enhancement also includes testing, management, monitoring, and troubleshooting capabilities that provide greater visibility and control over agent-driven experiences.
Scheduled Messaging (SMS, MMS, and RCS)
Scheduled Messaging enables Configurers to schedule future SMS, MMS, and RCS communications directly within the Xponent Messaging Node. The enhancement supports creating and canceling scheduled messages while providing visibility into communication activity at the profile level. This helps organizations automate time-based customer engagement scenarios, such as reminders, notifications, and follow-up communications, without requiring custom scheduling implementations.
Scheduled Email
Scheduled Email Communications extends the Xponent Email Node with support for future-dated email delivery. Configurers can schedule and manage email communications as part of journey orchestration, helping automate time-sensitive engagement scenarios such as payment reminders, registration prompts, and other customer outreach activities. The enhancement also provides visibility into communication activity at the profile level, enabling more intelligent management of scheduled and delivered communications.
Segmentation Attribute Enhancements
Segmentation Attribute Enhancements introduce a more structured and scalable approach to managing customer profile attributes within Xponent. Configurers can define and manage attributes with associated data types, enabling improved data quality, consistency, and governance across orchestration and segmentation use cases. This enhancement replaces free-form attributes with strongly typed attributes, improving data consistency and quality while establishing a strong foundation for future analytics, AI-driven capabilities, and segmentation use cases.
Hub Node Version Upgrade
Hub has been updated to a newer Node.js runtime version, improving platform stability, security, and long-term maintainability. This update aligns Hub with current platform standards and technology investments across Xponent, helping ensure ongoing compatibility and support without introducing changes to existing user functionality or workflows.
Enhancements to Managed Graphs
Managed Graphs are a key building block in Xponent Hub that enable teams to create reusable functionality while abstracting the underlying implementation details. This release introduces usability enhancements that make Managed Graphs easier to organize, discover, and use across orchestrations.
The enhancements include support for categorizing Managed Graphs, helping users locate and manage reusable assets more efficiently. The release also introduces visual customization options, allowing users to configure the appearance of Managed Graph nodes by selecting custom colors and icons to better align with organizational standards and improve graph readability.
Bug Fixes
BUG-714315 - Fixed an issue that could prevent users from configuring separate production and pre-production environments when analytics was enabled. Environment configuration updates now correctly support both environment types, ensuring more reliable environment management.
BUG-1027776 - Fixed an issue in Customer Segmentation Analytics (CSA) where channel and event mapping dropdowns remained selectable even after the corresponding checkbox was deselected. Deselected channels and events can no longer be selected, ensuring mapping options behave consistently with user selections.
BUG-1090609 - Fixed an issue that could cause intermittent errors during Hub startup due to feature flag configuration loading. The update improves the reliability of feature flag initialization and prevents startup issues caused by internal dependency loading conditions.
BUG-1154952 - Fixed an issue that could cause listener rebalancing operations to fail when previously removed listener configurations were encountered. The system now handles missing listener references more gracefully, improving stability and reducing the risk of unexpected service interruptions.
