JDA Assistant

Prev Next

The JDA Insights Conversational Assistant provides a natural language interface for journey analytics. It enables users to ask complex questions and explore data beyond predefined views. Working alongside Journey Insights cards and visualizations like Sankey, it enhances existing JDA capabilities by supporting follow-up queries for deeper analysis.

Use JDA Assistant to explore journey performance and uncover insights with natural language queries. Here are some examples:

  • Performance and Trends

    • Has drop-off improved since we changed Step 3?

    • Did the new email step increase conversions?

    • Show me how the conversion rate changed over the past 6 months.

  • Segmentation and Behavior

    • Which customer segments convert best in the renewal journey?

    • Which journeys had unexpected spikes in drop-off?

  • Journey Exploration

    • List the top 5 steps where customers abandon the process.

    • What is the average number of steps completed in onboarding journeys?

    • What is the average number of steps taken by all customers in the last 3 months that made it to the Journey End step in the Payment Reminder journey?

  • Comparative Analysis

    • Compare conversion rates before and after adding the reminder email step.

    • Which journeys show the highest engagement in the last quarter?

Note

The JDA Assistant is powered by Xponent Intelligence. To use this feature, Xponent Intelligence must be enabled for your organization.

To access the JDA Assistant, hover over the icon located at the bottom-right corner of the screen. The icon will expand slightly to indicate it is interactive. When the assistant window is in its collapsed state, you can drag it up or down to adjust its position, making it easier to use the left-side schema panel without obstruction. Click on it to open the full assistant window and start interacting with the assistant.

The fully opened JDA Assistant window can be dragged horizontally across the screen as needed. Click and hold the drag icon on the top left of the panel, move it left or right, and release to place it where it’s most convenient for you.

Users can access the JDA Assistant only from the main JDA page. It is not available on other Journey Analytics pages (Performance, Segmentation) or within the Individual Profile View page nested under JDA.

The quality of your question affects the quality of the response. Try to ask specific and clear questions to get more detailed and helpful responses.

Additional UI Components

To ensure transparency and user control, JDA Assistant includes the following elements (similar to those in Graph Assistant):

  • AI Disclaimer

Displays a note that responses are AI-generated and may require validation. This helps maintain compliance and user trust.

  • Clear Chat

Allows users to reset the conversation and start fresh without previous context.

  • Feedback Response Button

Enables users to rate individual responses (For Example, thumbs up 👍 /down 👎 ) and provide quick feedback.
