Modifying User Account

Existing User

To begin modifying a user account, the Client Admin selects the desired user from the list and clicks on the Edit icon. This opens the user account details panel, where the administrator can review and update specific information to keep the account current and aligned with organizational needs.

The following fields can be updated by the Client Admin:

  • User Status - The status indicator reflects whether the account is Active or Deactivated. The admin can update this as needed to reflect the current state.

  • First Name and Last Name - These can be modified to correct spelling errors, name changes, or other updates.

  • Phone Number - The contact number associated with the user can be updated at any time.

  • Channel Access - The specific channel-level permissions can be enabled or disabled, such as access to create Email, SMS, or MMS templates. Also the assigned roles

  • User Role - The role (For Example: Editor, Viewer, Reviewer, Activator) can be changed to adjust the level of access granted to the user.

  • Reset Password - The Reset Password option allows Client Admins to send a secure password reset link to a user’s registered email, enabling them to regain access.

After updating the necessary fields, click on the Update button to save the changes to the user account.

Restricted Fields

  • Email - The user’s email address, which also serves as their username, cannot be modified once created.
