Bill items represent individual charges or components of a bill. Within the Bill Explainer, users can manage and customize descriptions for these items to improve clarity and enhance user understanding. There are two ways to configure descriptions: Custom Description and Section-Based Description.
Custom Description
Custom descriptions allow users to define and manage descriptions at the individual bill item level.
Adding, Renaming, and Deleting Items: Users can add new bill items, rename existing ones, or delete them as needed.
Enabling or Disabling Descriptions: Users have the option to enable or disable descriptions for each bill item.
Info Icon Visibility: When the description is enabled, an info icon appears next to the item, providing users with additional details when hovered over.
Providing a Title and Description: Once enabled, users can enter a title and a detailed description for the item.
Adding Links: Links can be embedded within the description by selecting text and applying a hyperlink.
Generative AI Assistance: Users can refine descriptions using AI-powered options to rewrite, expand, or reduce content based on their requirements.

Section-based Description
Section-based descriptions apply to predefined sections that have been created within the Bill Sections feature. This allows descriptions to be assigned at a broader category level rather than per individual item.
Creating Descriptions for Sections: Users can configure descriptions for each subsection separately, ensuring clarity and better organization.
Enabling Section-Based Descriptions: A toggle switch allows users to enable descriptions for specific sections.
Visibility and Activation: Enabling the section description ensures that the relevant information appears within the bill, helping users understand grouped charges more effectively.
