Cards / Section-based Explanation

Prev Next

The Cards / Section-based explanation feature provides a structured way to display explanations when a bill change does not fall under predefined categories like Different Quantity, Different Periods, or Different Description Instead of leaving these changes unaddressed, this feature ensures that users always receive a clear, meaningful explanation.

This section allows users to configure content by specific cards or use cases, enabling them to create distinct explanations for different types of billing changes. Unlike the general fallback mechanism in the balance section, this configuration allows users to create individual cards for specific use cases, providing a more customized experience.

Users can enable or disable the fallback feature: Once enabled, the system will display a note, which informs users that fallback content is available for review at the end of the What Changed scenarios.

For Increase, Decrease, Added, or Removed configurations, users can define explanations for both single item and multiple item in the bill. Each configuration allows customization of the title and description to ensure clarity when charges change.

Title: A short heading summarizing the change. For example:

  • Charge Increased (for Increase)

  • Charge Decreased (for Decrease)

  • New Charge Added (for Added)

  • Charge Removed (for Removed)

Description: A detailed explanation highlighting the specific change. For example:

  • Increase: This charge has increased from Previous Amount to Current Amount.

  • Decrease: This charge has decreased from Previous Amount to Current Amount.

  • Added: A new charge of ‘Current Amount’ has been added to your bill.

  • Removed: The charge of ‘Previous Amount’ has been removed from your bill.

These descriptions help users track modifications and understand how their charges have changed.

Generative AI can assist in refining this content, and users can also incorporate predefined variables within the content for customization.
