This release delivers focused feature enhancements that improve usability, streamline navigation, and support more flexible communication workflows in XCC. With updates such as visually Enhanced Email Notification Templates, a streamlined Filter by Channel control, expanded UK support in Test Send, it also introduces SMS Character Limit Enhancement, enabling longer messages when required while continuing to recommend 160 characters as best practice. This release strengthens design consistency, simplifies template discovery, improves global testing accuracy across channels and expands SMS messaging flexibility.

Visually Enhanced Email Notification Templates
The email notification templates have been redesigned to be more visually appealing. This update showcases XCC's design capabilities, enhancing the aesthetic quality of template and asset workflow emails, as well as team invitations. An admin can modify a standard administrative notification template so that people in the organization get the most aesthetic templates.
For example, different notification emails could be created in different colors which not only imparts an aesthetic appeal to the email templates but also sets a theme for a specific type of administrative notification template. This update streamlines the process of creating visually engaging email notifications, improves recognition of template types, and enables organizations to present a unified, professional branding in all communications.
Filter Templates by Channel
The Filter Templates by Channel enhancement in XCC Studio allows users to quickly narrow the template list by communication channel- such as Email, SMS, MMS, or RCS directly from the templates view. By selecting a channel from the filter control, the list updates instantly to show only templates created or associated with that channel, making it easier to locate relevant templates in multi‑channel environments. This improvement reduces visual clutter in the templates grid and helps strategists move faster when working across different messaging channels.
International Test Send Support (UK numbers)
XCC now supports entering UK-formatted phone numbers when performing a Test Send from SMS templates. The Test Send workflow is updated to allow selecting a UK (+44) region code (in addition to US), enabling teams especially, those running UK-based demos to validate and preview messages using an appropriate phone number format.
SMS Character Limit Enhancement
This enhancement introduces support for extended SMS messages, allowing content to exceed the standard limits when specific use cases require longer communications. Traditionally, an SMS with up to 160 characters is delivered as a single message, while the use of special characters or emojis changes the encoding and reduces the limit to 70 characters per message. To address scenarios where longer messages are unavoidable, the character capacity can now be extended up to 1230 characters. Despite this flexibility, keeping messages within 160 characters continues to be the recommended best practice to ensure optimal delivery and readability.
