Teams

CSG/Client administrators use the Teams feature in XCC to control communications by creating dedicated teams for their organization. Through this capability, administrators can structure communication workflows, assign channels, and manage access with precision. The module provides robust tools to create, configure, and manage teams for multiple clients. This functionality strengthens collaboration, optimizes template visibility, and ensures team operations align with real-world organizational structures.

To manage teams, go to Communication Management in the left-hand menu and select Teams. The Teams Dashboard is the central hub for creating, editing, and managing teams in XCC. On this dashboard, you see Team Cards that represent each team. From this page, you can perform the following tasks:

  • Filter and search existing teams by Team Name, Last Modified Date, Number of Templates, or Number of Members.

  • Create a new team by adding channels and assigning organizational users.

  • Modify an existing team to update channel access, edit members, change channel template assignments, or delete a team.

  • Delete an existing team and reassign its associated templates, ensuring that communication structures remain relevant.

Search Filter

  • Find the Search field at the top of the team cards.

  • Type the team name or keyword in the Search field.

  • The system instantly updates the team cards to display only the matching team.

For example: Enter TCW in the search field to display only the TCW team.

  • Click the Clear (×) icon next to the search field to reset the filter and return to the list of team cards.

Sorting Options

Sorting allows administrators to efficiently organize and manage teams using predefined options. You can sort teams by A-Z, Last Modified Date, Number of Templates, or Number of Members to quickly locate the required team.

  • Locate the Sort by dropdown on the top-right corner of the Teams page.

  • Click the Sort by dropdown to view available options:

    • A-Z – Arranges the team cards alphabetically.

    • Last Modified –  Arranges the team cards by the most recent update.

    • Number of Templates –  Arranges the team cards based on the count of templates assigned.

    • Number of Members – Arranges the team cards in ascending order based on the number of members in each team.

  • Select the desired sorting option. The Team cards will be arranged based on your selection.

  • Click the Clear icon (X) to remove the sort option and refresh the team cards arrangement.
