Overview
The 25.2 release brings key enhancements to Xponent Communication Control, focused on improving user efficiency, transparency, and ease of use. Client Admins can now manage user accounts directly, configure reusable API variables for dynamic messaging, and control authentication via Single Sign-On. Email editors benefit from preview thumbnails in list view, promotion comments for better collaboration, and a refreshed login page aligned with CSG branding. Additional UI improvements like persistent filters, intuitive icon labels, and better navigation support a smoother experience across the platform. These updates streamline communication workflows and reduce reliance on support or engineering teams.
Reusable, Friendly-Named API Variables for Dynamic Messaging: Client Admins can now create, group, and manage reusable API variables such as
FIRST_NAMEorACCOUNT_BALANCEfor use across templates. These variables can be mapped to editor-friendly names (First Name) to simplify template composition and improve clarity. Mock data can also be added to preview messages accurately. A guided interface ensures variables follow strict naming rules, prevents duplication, and supports inline validation during creation. Grouping and sorting features make it easy to organize variables, while friendly names and sample values help editors quickly find and apply the right fields without relying on engineering. During message delivery, the original API variable name ensures seamless data resolution by downstream systems.Self-Service User Account Management for Client Admins: Client Admins can now manage their organization’s user accounts directly within Xponent Communication Control without relying on support or professional services. This includes the ability to invite new users, modify user accounts, reset passwords, unlock locked accounts, deactivate user accounts, and reactivate them when needed. Admins can assign roles and permissions, channel access to users, filter users by team or account status, and track key actions through real-time counters and detailed audit logs. In-app and email notifications ensure all changes are visible and transparent, streamlining access management and reducing operational overhead.
Privacy Statement Update: A product-specific privacy statement has been added to the login window of our CX SaaS products to ensure compliance with global data privacy regulations. It provides transparency about analytics data collected via Microsoft Clarity, its purpose, and user consent requirements.
Template/Asset Promotion Comments: Approvers can now add comments when promoting templates or assets, making it easier to communicate feedback or approval context to editors. This improves collaboration and mirrors the functionality already available in the Message Editor.
Single Sign-On (SSO) MVP: The SSO MVP enables clients to authenticate users via their own identity providers, allowing seamless access to the Studio application without requiring separate credentials. This eliminates the need for CSG-managed user setup or manual access requests. Default role assignment ensures users can access Studio with appropriate permissions upon first login, while Admins retain the ability to adjust roles as needed. This streamlines user management for both CSG and clients, improving operational efficiency and access control.
Template Thumbnail on Hover (Email): Strategists can now preview email templates directly from the list view by simply hovering over them, enabling faster identification and review without needing to open each individually. The thumbnail preview provides a quick visual snapshot of the template, improving efficiency during editing or QA. From the hover pop-up, users can also take key actions such as creating a new version, deleting the current version, or viewing the template in full screen, streamlining workflows and reducing clicks.
Updated Sign-In/Splash Page: The Xponent Communication Control login page has been refreshed to align with CSG’s latest branding and marketing direction. This update ensures visual consistency across CSG products, providing a more cohesive and professional experience for both internal users and client organizations.
