Overview

This release introduces enhancements to messaging workflows and template creation within Xponent Communications Control (XCC). Key updates include support for Email-to-SMS Conversion using Xponent.AI, making it easier to repurpose email content for SMS communications. There’s an improvement to RCS message variable character calculations, providing greater flexibility when creating message templates. Together, these updates help streamline campaign creation and improve the overall messaging experience.

Continuous Improvements

  • Email-to-SMS Conversion using Xponent.AI

XCC now supports Email-to-SMS Conversion in the EU region, expanding existing support available through Xponent.AI in the US. This enables users to convert email content into SMS messages through the existing conversion workflow. Xponent.AI processes the email content and generates SMS-ready messaging for faster cross-channel communication. This enhancement streamlines message creation and improves operational efficiency when engaging customers through SMS.

  • RCS Variable Character Calculation Update

The reserved character allocation for variables in RCS message title and main message content has been reduced from 50 characters to 20 characters. This update minimizes unnecessary character reservation during template validation and allows greater use of available message space. As a result, users are less likely to encounter character limit restrictions when creating RCS message templates.

Bug Fixes

  • Bug 1292514 - Resolved an issue where email previews failed due to authentication errors with the BEE Multiparser service. Reviewers can now successfully preview email assets and complete approval or rejection workflows without interruption.
