Flexible Payments

Flexible Payments are available to the Financially Distressed persona by default, rather than to all subscribers. Installment count, monthly amount, and eligibility criteria are configured during implementation. You can configure page content, payment plan details, feedback messages, and display options shown during the Flexible Payment journey.

Here you can configure display options to show or hide fee forgiveness information and the total final amount payable on payment-plan cards. These options help subscribers better understand and compare available payment plans before selecting one.

Page Introduction

Configure the introductory content displayed to subscribers when they select the Flexible Payments option. This content provides additional context before selecting a plan.

  • Title - Heading displayed on the Flexible Payments page.

    For Example: Flexible Payments

  • Description - Supporting text explaining the payment option.

    For Example: Split your $275.00 Past Due Amount into smaller monthly payments and select the plan that best fits your budget.

Plan Details

Configure the information displayed for each Flexible Payments plan. This information helps subscribers understand plan details and compare available options before selecting a plan.

  • Header Title - Title displayed for the payment plan section.

    For Example: Pay In

  • Due Amount - Displays the past due balance.

    For Label Example: Past Due Balance

  • Discount - Displays discount information with title, if applicable.

    For Example: Discount - This plan makes you eligible for fee forgiveness.

  • Total Final Amount – Title for the total final amount to be paid under the selected plan.

    For Example: Total Final Amount

More Info

When subscribers click the Select button on a payment plan card, the More Info view opens. Configure the content displayed in this view, including payment details, explanatory text, and the confirmation button label.

  • Monthly Amount - Displays the title for the monthly installment amount.

    For Example: Monthly Amount

  • Months: Displays the title for the number of monthly installments.

    For Example: Number of Installments

  • Description Title - Heading for the explanation section.

    For Example: How it works

  • Description - Explains the payment plan behavior.

    For Example: When you confirm this plan, your upcoming bills will be updated for the selected Number of months with an additional Monthly Amount added to each bill.

  • Button Label - Text displayed on the plan confirmation button.

Display Options

Configure how payment plan costs are presented during plan selection. These settings determine whether discount information and the total amount payable are displayed on Flexible Payment plan cards shown to subscribers. The additional cost details help subscribers compare available plans and understand the full payment commitment before confirming an arrangement.

Show Discount

Displays fee forgiveness information on Flexible Payment plan cards, including the discount amount associated with the selected plan.

  • Enable Show Discount to display the discount amount and fee forgiveness eligibility associated with the selected plan, helping subscribers understand their potential savings before confirming enrollment.

  • Disable Show Discount to hide the discount amount and fee forgiveness eligibility information on Flexible Payment plan cards.

    For example, Discount: $ 41.25 (15%)

The discount amount increases with plan duration increases, helping subscribers compare options and understand the value of each payment arrangement.

Show Total Final Amount

Displays the total final amount payable under the selected Flexible Payment plan after applicable discounts are applied.

  • Enable Show Total Final Amount to display the total final amount payable under the selected Flexible Payment plan after applicable discounts are applied.

  • Disable Show Total Final Amount to hide the total final amount payable under the selected Flexible Payment plan.

    For example, Total Final Amount: $233.75

Displaying the total amount helps subscribers understand the full cost of the arrangement before making a decision. Subscribers can compare plans based on monthly payments, fee forgiveness, and the final amount payable before selecting a plan.

Note

Both Show Discount and Show Total Final Amount are enabled by default and will be displayed on payment plan cards unless they are turned off.

Confirmation Message

Displayed after a subscriber successfully enrolls in a Flexible Payments plan. Configure the confirmation content shown to acknowledge the selection and provide next-step information.

  • Message - Primary confirmation message shown to the subscriber.

    For Example: Thank you! Your flexible payment plan is being processed.

  • Details - Additional confirmation information.

    For Example: Your flexible payment plan was set.

  • Button Label - Text displayed on the confirmation action button.

    For Example: Thank you!

Error Message

Displayed when a Flexible Payments plan cannot be successfully set. Configure the error content shown to subscribers, including guidance and navigation options when an issue occurs.

  • Message - Primary error message shown to the subscriber.

    For Example: We’re sorry. Your account couldn’t be verified.

  • Details - Additional information explaining the issue.

    For Example: Your flexible payment plan couldn’t be set up. This might be due to a verification error or technical issues.

  • Button Label - Text displayed on the navigation button.
